Just Call Me President Krista

Saturday, October 11, 2014

It's time to have a little fun on this Saturday morning.

//You would get paid extra to work weekends.

//Every household would be required to have a cat like Lily. Cats are pretty much the best. But we could negotiate a dog for a small fee.

//Student loan debt forgiveness. I will say no more. In fact, college is free.

//Mandatory vacations every year. No employer can deny any time off. You will be penalized if you do not take 2 weeks of vacation.

//Wine is offered with every meal. First glass for free.

//There would be a scientific discovery that would allow no calories for fast food, chocolate, alcohol. Because it's just not fair.

//Newlyweds would be given a starter home. It would be a fixer upper that they would need to work together to improve. If they put the time and money into it, it will provide for them and their families.

And for my only political part of being President...require drug test before approving all welfare. Please and thank you.

What would you do if you were president?

  3. It was fun thinking about everything I would do, nothing as serious as what the actual president does. And I think it would help your first year of marriage too, being able to work together as a team and spending time together.

  4. You caught my comma mistake...Fixed it! It's chocolate, wine. But there is actually a chocolate wine of some sort that they sell. Been wanting to try it.

  7. YES on student loan debt forgiveness! People keep asking us why we haven't bought a house yet. My answer is - well we owe almost $500,000 to the Feds (or will, once hubs is done with medical school) so any house owning income is being eaten up there. I always tell them as well that they are welcome to buy one for us if they want us to have one so badly! lol. Also, I love the idea of wine at every meal! Although, maybe just champagne at breakfast :P

  9. Champagne is definitely a good option with breakfast. It kills me every month when I realize what I could do with the money I put towards my student loans every month. Could have had 3 houses by now!

  10. Yes! Another vote for me :) Student loans are the worst thing pretty much ever. If they tell you that you NEED a degree to get a job they should pay for it when you aren't quite there.
