Happy lazy Sunday! Actually not so much for us. I'm working the fiance hard today to get the junk out of our spare bedroom into the storage unit. Just trying to clean this place up ya know? Way off topic.

Today is Sunday Social and I love this one because it is about fall things! I love fall. Colors, scents, weather, etc. Love itttttt.

1. What is your favorite fall activity?
I love pumpkin picking and carving. And drinking pumpkin coffee from Dunkin

2. Do you follow a football team? If so which one and why?

Well here we go. New England Patriots! Yes, I realize I do not live in the New England area. Yes, I realize there are other teams closer to follow but it's whatever. And it goes way back. Yankees and Devils were forced on us but football was one of the wishy washy. Uncle liked this team, Dad liked this team and never went to games so I kinda just picked one. And that's that.


3. What is something fun about Fall in your area?
I have a new area this Fall so I guess we will see. We have a nice park right down the road and I've heard there are Fall and Christmas happenings there quite often so I'm excited to see that!

4. Fall favorite outfit staple?
I love skinny jeans, flats, and wraps. So easy and fun.

5. Things you are looking forward to most about this upcoming fall season
First and foremost, Dunkin Donuts pumpkin coffee. Delicious. ( Have you gotten that I love pumpkin coffee?) And then if all goes right, engagement pictures this fall to prepare for save the dates eeeeekkk!!

56. Favorite fall holiday/tradition?
Not very much. First fall living together so I guess we will figure some things out. But I have always loved Thanksgiving. But lately I have taken the option to work for that extra moola.

Friday's Letters

Dear Grey's Anatomy- What are you doing to me!? I can't believe the season finale ended that way and we still don't really know for sure who died. I see through you Shonda Rhimes. I'm still not totally convinced Lexie is dead. And I must say even though it was fake blood and bones...holy moly. Still made me a little nauseous. Dear Fiance-Great job being awesome :) I know you will kill it on Tuesday and then maybe we can figure out where we will actually being going in a month. Dear 2 day Detox-I'm not entirely sure if you really helped or not. I did not feel any different. Well, except for the fact that I was really hungry. I did though develop a real fondness for smoothies so I might just continue that for my breakfast. Dear exercise routine-If you could make yourself that would be wonderful. And help me get rid of these jiggly thighs before bikini season. Much thanks. Dear coffee- I definitely missed you for two days and will never give you up again.

Coffee! Coffee! Coffee!

It seems I have started growing on my obsession with Dunkin Donuts and coffee.  

Realizing this it brought me to thinking what would I do without coffee? Could I function? Yes. Would I function well? Probably not. I'm sure everyone can recall when coffee turned to that icky gross stuff adults drank to something we need in the morning and occasionally on those pick me up days. I remember my mom was an avid coffee drinker and I would start to sneak a cup here and there because if my Mom needed it every morning then I must need it.

It turned into an every morning cup of coffee. The rushed, pour it in a to-go cup, for high school. Buying a small 4 cup coffee for my dorm room and the late night Dunkin runs for all nighters. And now it's always making sure to savor the cup of coffee before heading off to work. ADd in the mid morning cup of coffee at work and on weekends. Possibly even another in late afternoon.

Now back to my obsession. Have a look...

The benefit of this huge size is you can see the awesome flavors. Toasted Almond. Yum. Pumpkin Spice. Fall all year around. And the newest to my collection...Strawberry Shortcake. I can not say enough how good and awesome this is. I tell everyone about it and probably multiple times. Added bonus: it makes your whole house smell like strawberry. What an inexpensive air freshener that tastes delish!

I am one of the suckers that buys into the Dunkin Donut flavor craze but I must say they are all so good and I do not regret any purchase. I still frequent my regular coffee with the French Vanilla creamer but these flavors give me an added oomph on the days I need it. Trust me. Everyone should have some on those off days. 

So if you gather anything from this post it's that you should go buy Strawberry Shortcake Dunkin Donuts coffee. Right now. Go.

National Coffee Day!

Piggybacking off my previous post, it is national coffee day today!

To celebrate the day right, I will be picking up my Pumpkin coffee at Dunkin Donuts. Yum. yet another peek of fall. I have had one so far but I need to get my fill before they are gone. 

So raise your coffee cups and be thankful for the caffeine that jump starts our day/ keeps us going throughout the day. 

Speaking for all the coffee Drinkers

When I say how disheartening it was to see the article on CNN titled, "Coffee prices on the rise."

A daily coffee drinker myself I was drawn to read this article. Wondering how much my wallet would feel the pinch of the so called higher prices. Well, it turns out that it isn't a recent rise but a slow and steady climb. 

Apparently bad weather in South Africa, the fact that Vietnam and Brazil have become hoarders and the US just doesn't have the coffee crop it used to, is what is leading to the nearly 13 year high in coffee prices. Folgers, Dunkin Donuts and Millstone already raised their prices up 10% and Maxwell House with a 9% rise and K cups will see a 10% increase by October.

The interesting part of this article is where it says the price of coffee might not be felt at your local Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks since they are individually priced. So have we come to the point where grabbing your quick cup o' joe at one of these establishments before work will actually be cheaper? Which defuncts the previous, save money by brewing your own at home. 

I must say, a pumpkin coffee everyday would suit me just fine, Yummm. I just hope the supply gets larger because if we see a day without coffee at all, it would mean a lot of early morning brawls.
