Let me start off by saying, I can not believe the day is here where this is my last Wedding Wednesday post. Almost a two year engagement has led to this time and I am just so excited and overwhelmed that it is finally all coming together.
One of the many reasons I love blogging is just for this. I was able to put into words the majority of my wedding planning experience and questions and ideas. It will always be there for me to look back on and reflect.
And now enough with the deep thoughts. I have an actual last wedding Wednesday post
rain on your wedding day...isn't it ironic?
Pulling out a little Alanis to ease myself of the fact the forecast looks like this for my wedding day...
No bride dreams of rain on their wedding day. And all you already been brides who had beautiful weather telling me it's good luck...you can kindly shut it. And I mean that in the nicest way possible.
BEcause we all know, every bride wants that beautiful day and that bride saying those words would be just as upset as I am. I did shed a few tears. It's just my day has always been a beautiful garden, nice sunshine. Plus, what makes our venue gorgeous is the outside where we would be getting married and our guests would be having cocktail hour. It's hard to let that go, especially since plan B involves me walking down the stairs to enter my ceremony. Nightmares about falling anyone?
But then I put my big girl pants on and turned to Pinterest and Google to gather up some rainy day pictures.
Because if mother nature is going to give us a big Eff you, I'll give it right back and have fun with it. So I have my rain boots ready, bridesmaids requested to bring umbrellas, we have our large black umbrella and I am going to get some cute pictures if it means anything.
And let's hope ours look this good..
