So, these two kids were in their freshmen year of college when they met.
After meeting that Halloween night, we definitely saw a lot more of each other as I spent a ton of time in Steph's room, Brian's neighbor.
We had many AIM conversations and I would come back from class with a ton of funny messages waiting even though my away message was up. His favorite was rubbing in the fact that I hated oranges and would always bring it up.
When we were hanging out, we had a lot of fun together. Joked around, laughed, he would even grab the phone while I was talking to my mom and joke around with her. I thought it was us becoming good friends. I was used to having close guy friends. For him, he was crushin..hehe
It took a couple of people to tell me that he was even interested in me. As I said I was used to close guy friends. I was however, not there yet. To me he was just a close friend that I enjoyed talking to and having a good time.
But that didn't stop him from trying with me.

During that winter break, my mom ended up in the hospital in Florida and he was the person I was texting the most. Then add in a fight where we weren't talking for a week and my chatty best friend Steph and we both were finally at the right place.
