Our Honeymoon in Kauai Last Days

Wednesday, July 31, 2013

As our last few days in Hawaii came to an end, we decided to just explore the town and really relax before we headed back home. We had such a great time we were sad to see it coming to an end.

Oh and I decided to chop all my hair off. No big deal.

Last picture with long hair!

I have been wanting to cut my hair short for like ever and I am so glad I did it. Hair grows back so one day I might have my long hair back but I'm loving the short sassy hair. And the husband captured it all on camera. I think because he secretly thought I was going to actually cry.

8 inches of hair right there!

Husband loving the hair!

Dinner with Mai Tais

Sunrise

Why was I up at sunrise on my honeymoon you might ask. Well, let's just say I might have had a horrific nightmare about a certain fur baby. I'm talking gruesome and mild panic attack. It was hard to go back to sleep. Is this what it's like to be away from your children?!

One of our drives

We had heard all about this Puka-Dog, before we left for Hawaii and from many locals while we were in Hawaii. So it was a must for us to visit. As you can see, we waited in quite a long line that I had to ask for a cup of water to cool me down before I had a mild heat stroke.

Puka Dog as seen on the Travel Channel!

Followed by a sunset stroll on the beach

Even though it's blurry, I really like this one

Sad face, we are leaving

Happy face to see Lily

Flight delayed 2 hours, airport sushi!

Our honeymoon was absolutely fantastic and once in a lifetime trip. Hawaii was where I wanted to go and it was my dream honeymoon and it was everything I could have asked for.

People might ask why we went to Hawaii if we didn't snorkel or scuba or zip line...which btw we discovered we aren't huge ocean people..and I will just say, Have you been to Hawaii ;)
