Weekend Shenanigans

I had myself a pretty nice weekend it turns out.

Friday night I made my way down to Point Pleasant to join the newest bachelorette as we send her off into married life!

A litle blurr helps protect the others ;)

All our fun drinks!

Woke up Saturday morning feeling quite nice considering my age ;) Don't deny you haven't seen the "how you know you're getting to 30" post.

I was able to steal a nice dinner date with Brian thanks to my half day off. And guess what we had?
ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI.
Yes, it exists. And yes, I only eat California and spicy tuna rolls. But they are delish and I want them everyday.

And have you heard of the movie Spring Breakers?

Yes, it's as raunchy as it looks. And delusional. And it repeats things over and over.
"Spriiing Breakkk. Spriiing Breakkk." OH. EM.GEE

Thank goodness it only cost a dollar.

Oh, and how could I forget the lovely gift I got from Bed, Bath & Beyond.

These are my NEW dishes.

DISGUSTING.

Basically, someone wasn't satisfied with the plates so they sent them back after using them. Then, Bed, Bath & Beyond didn't even check them and sent them straight out to me.

I know this because I am super detective and saw my label was stuck over another label so of course I pulled it off to reveal what was underneath.

You best believe I tweeted this. Nothing gets through to companies these days then blasting it all over social media for everyone to see their shitty service.

Seriously, you are going to send me dirty plates?? I told them I wasn't taking them anywhere but the garbage and I would never buy a dishware set from them again. So I get a corporate check that is cash money so I don't have to spend the money in their store on my newlywed plates. Thank you very much.

And then Sunday I had to work.

The End.

What was the best part of your weekend?

  1. Yuck - that's disgusting that BB&B sent you those!! If you're in the market for new dishes, try Pottery Barn. They're extremely reasonably priced (cheaper than BB&B) and suuuuper cute!

  2. That is crazy! I can't believe they don't check those things before sending them out.
