Weekend Fun!

Time to tell you all about my weekend! It's weekend update!

Or I can give ya some Instagram pics because ya know, I got a super cool new Ipod touch (If ya haven't heard) And I finally can pretend I'm a cool kid with Instagram.

This is my Bride to be Vox Box from Influenster that I received last Thursday and started using it's contents this weekend. More information to come on this awesome stuff on Wedding Wednesday!

Hit the 8 month mark yesterday!!!  And there is so much we have to do yet and it has finally sunk in that time is really moving fast. Pretty soon it will be six months, then a month then wedding day! But it's ok I have a plan to get as much done possible this week on my vacation. So fingers crossed by the end of the week the dress will be decided, bridesmaids dresses at least looking, programs, menus, save the dates done, hotel done and possibly florist. Like I said, fingers crossed!

Friday night we had an intense game night with the newlyweds! Played UNo for the first time in forever and had some delicious wine.  Overstayed our welcome maybe just a little bit since we were there until 2 am. Whoops. But we were just having so much fun! (Excuse the fiance's finger...he was upset he wasn't winning haha)

Then we made a trip over to Lancaster Saturday to hang out with family firends. They are moving to Hawaii tomorrow and will be stationed there for 4 years. So we got to spend time with the cute kids. Seriously adorable. Brian's hat was a hot commodity and we had fun with that. Kids love me and always think I am one of them. What can I say. As you can see they all wanted to sit with me on the couch. But I love hanging out with the kids and the baby...so adorable. Look at her smile! Wishing them luck on their adventure in Hawaii!

Welp. That was my weekend in a nutshell. Now off to spend my time with wedding things and organizing. See ya!

Movin on up to a new iPod

Here I am writing from my new iPod touch. That's right moving up in the world. And into a whole new world. This make me feel out of date with technology and I keep saying wait how so you use this and why can't I turn the screen sideways and why are my fingers so large that I press every other letter but the one I want?

So this is basically a test post...seeing how this looks and if I can actually use it appropriately. So let me know :)

But first question how do I do the spell check? It suggests words and I just don't know how to get rid of it....this is an adventure.

I am finally trying to get back to a regular schedule with my blog. I have missed doing all my letters and link-ups but I'm sure I can get back into it in the next week. Here are my first Friday's letters for October...when did that happen? Starting it off with a new button!

Dearest friend Shell-Happy 26th birthday my dearest bridesmaid and oldest friend :)

(oldest as in how long we've been friends because we both know I'll be there in a few months)

 I hate that I am so far away from you now and we can't do our quick lunches or dinners but I know we still got it. You are doing amazing things and I am so glad things are working out for you after all those early morning diner shifts "Hello Michelle, where are you?" "Yea I'm almost there"...as your just climbing out of bed hungover. Love you so much have a wonderful day!!

Dear Jaclyn-Happy birthday to you too!! Almost birthday twins you gals are. Hope you had a wonderful birthday and the hubby treated you right :) As always can't wait to join you cool kids in a few months. 

Dear Vacation- Even though you are mostly a staycation, I am so glad you are here. I needed this time off to do things I haven't had time to do in months.

Dear Ipod Touch-You have seriously upgraded me from my first Ipod, the very first original pink mini iPod. I am so confused at your workings and get frustrated every other second but I am determined to learn how to use you properly in the next week. Sorry it has taken me two months to do this. 

Dear wedding plans-I think you are finally starting to come at a faster rate...the rate everyone else has wanted me to go ;) Save the dates are constructed, programs are almost done, engagement shoot location has been determined and hair and makeup almost locked down. Hopefully hotel done by next week too. Just need to get on the whole dress thing done though.

Dear spare room-Get ready for a serious makeover in the next week. You will become my new office, my new haven and new wedding planning zone. And still of course be Lily's room and have her bed. Spoiled kitty much?

Dear fiance-Get ready for all the wedding fun!! The only reason I am letting you play endless hours of NBA 2k13 is because you have been pretty patient with all the wedding questions and tasks. So you can be rewarded :)

Can't wait for three weekends off in a row!!
