Modern Fairytale

So if you haven't turned on the news or basically been living in a cave then you wouldn't know what I am talking about. But chances are you do know what I'm talking about.

Prince William and Kate Middleton

It all started back in November when the engagement rumors started. They stepped out at a friends wedding looking as happy as ever and were secretly engaged. Then a week later, their engagement was annouced where Kate showed off the same engagement ring Princess Diana was given.

Then came the speculation about a date. Then the date was announced and the countdown was on. Souvenirs were made that included mugs, erasers, hats and even the quirky. Case in point: refridgerator display. Who wouldn't want the engagement picture of Kate and William across their fridge?

Every news station and talk show has shared their tidbits of information, glimpses of flowers or dresses that might appear at the wedding. The past week started the takeover of London as prepartions were finalized. We know what Kate and William have been doing their last week as bachelor/bachelorette. Spent Easter together, practied wedding variances and went their separate ways the eve before their wedding.

Tomorrow is the day. Tomorrow, Kate Middleton becomes a princess. SO. JEALOUS.

She is living every little girl's dream. Of growing up and finding their prince, getting married and becoming a princess. For the rest of the million women across the world this doesn't exist or happen. For Kate Middleton, she gets to be the one in a million when she marries a prince tomorrow morning. And I am almost certain the title of Queen will only be a few years off.

This is basically what every Disney movie is made of. Maybe that explains why I am so caught up in this. And I am not afraid to admit it.

I want to know what dress she's wearing, the guest list and every other detail that has to do with the royal wedding. I will most definitely be one of the crazy people up at 5 am tomorrow morning just so I can watch it. I think this is such a great fairytale story and wish everyone would get up caught up in the simple joy of this wedding. The royal wedding.
