Fall TV Excitement

Tuesday, September 22, 2015

If you're anything like me, I already have a Fall TV premiere schedule going. Does it mean I watch a lot of TV? Most likely. But it also makes sure I do not miss any of the good stuff. These are the ones I am especially on the edge of my seat for.

I couldn't not start off with the most thrilling 3 hours of television, TGIT. All you need is a tall glass of wine to top of your Thursday Nights.

 // Grey's Anatomy
 How will they go on without Derek? Why is Derek not there anymore? Who is her other person? So many questions.

// How to Get Away with Murder
Um, what? I need a refresher on the season finale because I watched but I was also wondering what the heck color that dress was. Remember that?! It was blue, btw.

// Scandal
Oh, that Olivia Pope. We have been watching the episodes on Netflix and there are a few questions I need answered from last season. Once I watch them, I will be good and ready.

Oh, and did you know there is a real Olivia Pope wine glass?! Technically, Crate and Barrel, but it's the fancy one she drinks out of. And perfect to down while enjoying a little TGIT.

// Once Upon a Time
Emma Swan is evil. How will this work out for the town of Storybrook? How will her love life work with Hook? You know I am all about the love story in every show.

// Modern Family
My does of comedy mixed in with all of my drama shows. Lily is basically the funniest kid ever and I am Clare in my future. Pretty much everything that comes out of her mouth my husband says, that's so you!

// Empire
I am still on the fence about this one...it intrigued me last season but it also drug towards the end. Even with him in jail, I am curious to see how he gets out, what happens to the family, etc.

Fall TV Show Favorites

Wednesday, September 24, 2014

It's that time of year again. The air is turning crisper, the leaves are changing and TV is taking on a whole new season of drama and laughs.

We are huge TV watchers. Maybe a little too much at time. Our DVR definitely gets itself a workout just to keep up with all of them. Now that fall is back, we are gearing up our fall TV show lineup.

Returning Fall Favorites

//Grey's Anatomy
 As we return this season, Cristina is clearly absent and I am not sure how everything will play out. Meredith lost her person.

//Revenge
After having finally caught up just a week ago, I can't wait to see how Emily continue to play out her schemes. Especially with Victoria in the psychiatric hospital and Conrad dead.

//Once Upon a Time
Confession, we just started watched this over the summer. Netlfix Binge. We are all caught up and are awaiting to see how Storybook gets "frozen over."

//Agents of Shield
If you haven't already known, we love superheroes and love that they are making their way to TV. The first season of this show correlated directly with two Marvel movies, Captain America and Thor. Hydra had taken over and Shield is no longer. What will happen?

//Modern Family
Equivalent of my Friends fix. Can laugh and laugh over and over again. After watching reruns all summer, we are ready for more Phil-osophies.

New Fall TV Picks

// Mysteries of Laura
Debra Messing plays a single mom of twin that tries to juggle being a mom and a homicide detective. It also helps Josh Lucas plays her soon to be ex-husband. Nice on the eyes. After one episode, I really love the wit and humor in this show. I also love detective shows. Looking forward to seeing if I can stay along for the ride.

//Gotham
All about Batman and having a husband who loves Batman, you are signed up for this every Monday night. I must admit, it wasn't that bad of a storyline and Jada Pinkett Smith playing the villain is quite the touch,

//Flash
Another comic book show. It seems we have a pattern. It follows the character, "Flash" who is literally the fastest human on the planet after an explosion.

Fall Show Faves

Sunday, September 22, 2013

It's no secret I watch a lot of tv. It might have gotten a little bit worse when we acquired the technology of the DVR and OnDemand. We literally can't miss anything.

Fall tv started this past week and the best is yet to come this week.
Here is everything I am excited for. You will see my addiction.

It goes without saying I am anxiously awaiting this premiere.

This show has some history. My mom used to watch it and laugh. I did not watch. The boyfriend watched it and told the same things my mom told me. I did not watch.

Well, I finally gave in around 2008. And I have been hooked every since. I am sad to see it go but I can't wait to see how The Mother evolves in the last season.

This was a recent addition to our lineup of tv. It came on after we watched our DVR of How I Met Your Mother. So we watched, we loved the dirty humor and we can't for it to come back.

We have Wednesday night comedy night and this is one of our favorite comedies. You can't get comedy like Lily. And Phil is classic.

Yes, we like this show. No, we aren;t ashamed. But we are upset it has moved out of our Wednesday comedy block and to Fridays instead. But that's what DVR is for right?

If you weren't aware of my super hero obsession, now you are. I can't even describe how excited I am to see this show and see how Agent Coulson is now alive after Avengers.

The previews are funny and who doesn't love a trophy wife?

This might not last, but I am curious about this. Maybe because of Anna Faris. I'll let you know how it turns out.

What are you most looking forward to for fall premieres?
